Kayleigh Davison
Head of Sector Knowledge & Experience — CareClarity
Kayleigh leads the sector knowledge function at CareClarity, bringing direct experience of children's residential care practice, Ofsted inspection preparation, and the regulatory framework that governs homes in England.
Expertise and focus
Kayleigh's work at CareClarity is built on direct, practical experience of what children's residential care looks like day-to-day — and what Ofsted inspectors look for when they arrive. Her knowledge spans the full regulatory framework: the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, the nine Quality Standards, the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF), and the monthly and six-monthly oversight requirements under Regulations 44 and 45.
Her writing is grounded in how registered managers and responsible individuals experience compliance in practice — the documentation pressures, the inspection anxieties, and the gap between what the regulations require and what most guidance materials explain clearly. CareClarity's guidance articles are written to close that gap.
