Consultant Plan

Built for the RI who covers more than one home

All seven tools and the full Learning Hub, one login across every setting you support, from £200 a month and priced around what you actually cover.

Who it is for

You are not running one children's home. You are the Responsible Individual or independent consultant supporting several, each on its own registration, with its own registered manager and its own Ofsted timetable. A standard single-home subscription assumes one setting used by one team. It does not fit a caseload.

The Consultant Plan is built around that instead. One account, used across every setting you support, priced for the volume that comes with it rather than the volume a single home needs.

Every tool, sized to your caseload

The Consultant Plan includes all seven CareClarity tools and the full Learning Hub, the same access a single home's paid subscription gets, sized to the number of settings you actually work across.

  • Document Review: Care plans and risk assessments, RAG-rated against the nine Quality Standards at Regulations 6 to 14 of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

  • Daily Log Review: Checks objectivity, child-centred language and whether the entry evidences the decision behind it.

  • Supervision Review: Checks sign-off quality and evidence of impact against the supervision duty at Regulation 33.

  • Safeguarding Chat: Thresholds and referral pathways, aligned to Working Together to Safeguard Children 2026.

  • Referral Compatibility Checker: Risk-assesses an incoming referral against the children already placed.

  • Reg 45 Review: Six quality dimensions with inspector preparation questions, under the review of quality of care at Regulation 45.

  • SOP Checker: Twenty-two checks against Schedule 1 of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

  • The full Learning Hub: Knowledge quizzes, case walkthroughs, the mock Ofsted interview and the Scenario Builder.

We agree the number of user accounts and the monthly usage with you directly: the accounts around the size of your own consultancy team, the usage around the settings you cover. Not a tier built for one home and stretched across several.

The account is yours, not your clients'

This is the part worth being exact about. The user accounts on a Consultant Plan are for you and your own consultancy team. Nobody who works at a home you support gets a login on your account, and the plan is not a route to give one to them.

You run their documents through the tools yourself, as their adviser. That is what the plan is for. If the staff at a home want to use CareClarity in their own day to day work, reviewing their own logs and supervision records as they write them, that home needs its own subscription. Your referral code is exactly how to do that, and it is worth something to both of you.

One login, not a client dashboard

Each home you support is its own organisation in CareClarity, exactly as it would be if it subscribed directly. You use your own login across every one you have access to. A document you review is not tied to a named home unless you note it there yourself.

There is no portfolio dashboard listing your client homes and no cross-organisation view of their compliance position. If that is what you are picturing, this is not that. What you get is the same seven tools and the same document-level review, usable wherever you need them, without buying and managing a separate subscription for every home.

Nothing you upload is stored

Every document you review, a care plan, a daily log, a supervision record, is processed in real time to produce the review and then discarded. CareClarity does not retain document content once the review completes. Only metadata is kept: organisation, user, tool, file type and timestamp, for usage and billing.

That matters more to a consultant than to a single home. You are handling records belonging to organisations you do not employ, often for homes you visit periodically rather than daily. No document content sitting in a database is one less thing to answer for when a client asks what happened to a file after you reviewed it.

One thing worth being direct about, because it holds for you as much as for any home you support: CareClarity reviews records staff have already written. It does not write, draft or generate them, for you or on behalf of a client home. Writing a daily log or a care plan is how a keyworker comes to know the child in their care, and no tool should be doing that instead of them.

From £200 a month, built around what you cover

The Consultant Plan starts from £200 a month. That is a floor, not a fixed fee. Every package is agreed individually, around the number of settings you support and the usage that comes with them. There is no published tier because there is no standard consultant caseload, and a small one and a large one need different provision.

Tell us what you cover and we will price it

Refer a home, earn a fee

Every Consultant Plan comes with its own referral code. Any home that signs up using it gets 10% off its first 3 months. Once that home has completed 3 paid months, you are owed a £100 referral fee. There is no cap on how many homes you refer.

The fee applies once a home converts to a paid plan. A free Starter signup records the attribution, but nothing is owed until the home is paying.

Common questions

Can I use a Standard or Professional subscription to support more than one home?

No. Our terms require a Consultant Plan if you are an independent Responsible Individual, consultant or third-party adviser using the platform across multiple client organisations. Using any other plan to service multiple organisations is a breach of those terms.

Can I add staff from the homes I support to my Consultant account?

No. The accounts on a Consultant Plan are for you and your own consultancy team. You use the tools yourself on your clients’ documents, as their adviser. If a home’s own staff want to use CareClarity day to day, that home needs its own subscription, and your referral code is how to set that up.

Do I get a dashboard showing all my client homes in one place?

No. Each client home is a separate organisation in CareClarity. You use one login across the settings you have access to, and there is no portfolio view or cross-client compliance dashboard.

How is the price worked out?

We agree the number of user accounts and the monthly usage with you directly, based on the settings you support, then price it accordingly. £200 a month is the starting point, not a fixed fee.

How quickly can I get set up?

We reply to enquiries within one to two business days. Consultant accounts are configured by hand, and your account is activated within one business day of payment.

Set up by hand, not by self-serve signup

Consultant accounts are configured manually so the users, usage and price match what you actually cover. We reply to enquiries within one to two business days, and your account is activated within one business day of payment.
